A cairn symbolises trust, insight and direction: you know where you come from, you know where you stand and where you are going.
A new job or moving to a different place can intensify feelings of being lost or disconnected. The Cairn Practice is a supportive place to navigate those challenges and regain balance in a new environment.
At The Cairn Practice I help you to find your way (back) to your path towards a happy and fulfilling life. To find more direction in life, manage work stress, break old patterns, build confidence and improve your relationship with yourself and your body.
What I do:
- I offer integrative coaching and counseling in English, Dutch and German, live in my practice in The Hague and online. I am specialised in working with students, young professionals and expats.
- The sessions are made-to-measure and fit your personal goal or question. You will work on gaining awareness and acceptance and you will develop insight and grip to take that next step in life.
- I don’t have waiting lists; if I’m unavailable, I’ll refer you to a nearby counselor. When you’re ready for true change, there’s no need to wait for good help.
- And the BEST of it: I have a special offer for students, expats and young professionals!

About The Cairn Practice and me
The Cairn Practice reflects my coaching and counseling philosophy. A “cairn” is an old Scottish term for a man-made pile of stones found in wild landscapes. You encounter them on mountain hikes or rugged plains. A cairn means: this is your path. Step by step, you’ll gain control over your past and what’s holding you back, with the goal of feeling free in the present and living a confident, happy life.
After I started training at the Dutch Academy for Psychotherapy in Amsterdam I founded The Cairn Practice in 2021. I have been coaching and counseling next to my work in the academic field ever since. I know what a balancing act modern life can be. I divide my work and life between The Hague and Munich (Germany).
